5S Rwanda strengthens its partnership with the Ministry of Health.

The Ministry of Health through the Rwandan Biomedical Center (RBC), a national health implementation agency, organized a validation workshop in March 2023 with key local partners: 5S Foundation, the End Fund, the Rwanda Health Communication Center (RHCC), media practitioners, people working in education and graphic designers.

Participants at the Rwanda Biomedical Centre workshop to develop and evaluate podoconiosis resources.

The workshop aimed to validate and test materials that will raise awareness to end NTDs and their consequential effects by 2030 such as poverty and social stigma. The materials included audio-visual materials such as short films, posters, pictures, messages and fact sheets of each disease like the leaflet available here.

This leaflet written in Kinyarwanda was produced by the 5S Foundation team in Rwanda to distribute to people living in podoconiosis endemic areas.
